Nene Valley Holiday Cottages is an exclusive development of three luxury self-catering holiday cottages created in 2006 from traditional farm buildings with commanding views over the Nene Valley in Northamptonshire. Our holiday cottage accomodation is also suitable for short or longer term lets. They are ideally located between Peterborough, Northampton and Cambridge in East Anglia.

Located at Hall Farm, Wigsthorpe in the north east of Northamptonshire, Nene Valley Cottages is the perfect choice for self catering holiday vacations in East Anglia. Nene Valley Cottages stands on its own, surrounded by fields with panoramic views about half a mile from a quiet B road. It is the perfect viewing platform for enjoying the sunsets on balmy evenings. It is truly isolated. For those who want a break while being absolutely certain of space in which to wander without any worries about social distancing, this is the perfect place to holiday. We have over 5 miles of private walking tracks on the farm from which you can join footpaths and bridleways for walks as long as you want. In addition, the gentle rolling countryside makes this excellent cycling country. Open air markets in Oundle and Thrapston, both less than 5 miles away offer the safest food shopping but, of course, you can always arrange a grocery delivery on changeover day if you want to stay totally isolated. There are other many other market towns to explore in Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire. Country Houses include Althorpe, Wimpole Hall, Burghley House and Rockingham Castle.
